the new 6's yea my comp is kaputsville right now so the weekly 6's are impossible. so instead i'ma do 'em when ever i can. and i can today so bam!!!! a new 6!! dedicated to my one of the greatest elements of modern childhood. The cartoon.

first and for most the grandaddy of cartoons the mutha fuccin TRANSFORMERS!!!

this cartoon was so dope i NEEDED to watch this daily. i reenacted every episode with my homies during every recess for years. and then transformers the movie dropped. SON!!! i went crazy i fuccin cried when Optimus died YO!! you felt that emotion. i KNOW you did. man they don't even make movies like this anymore. they cant they don't know how.


yea yea yea i know the real "american" hero. ha ha. my friends mom wouldn't let him play with Joes cuz she couldn't condone american militarism. Smart mom. But as a kid you ain't thinking of all that your thinking lasers oh shit hell yea. they had that filthy jet where the wings where baccwards. the battle attacc androids or B.A.T.s. Zartan and the dreadnaught, Destro and Stormshadow. that mutha fucca was BAD!! and iceberg and road blocc where the first black toys i ever had. i had a crush on jinx (still like girls who fight!). and again the movie was nuts cobra la!!! wild. but my friends mom was right american militarism is fucced up. cuz it uses our poor youth to kill the poor youth of other countries. we're being duped ya'll!


this one is the most fucced up of all the cartoons i watched though. look he got the german iron cross on his chest. which among other things was an award hitler handed out to distinguished soldiers during world war 2. And the fact that he matched nietzsche's idea of the ubermench or super man. a major inspiration for nazi ideas of the master race. And he was the epitome of manliness. he went from prince adam (timid lil boy, where all of us start ergo adam our genesis) to he-man super manly aryan ideal that men should strive for. so not only was it supporting the third riche but also it supported patriarchy. But it was fun and colorful and thats all a 5 year old expects from his cartoon. i could go way deeper into all the shit in this cartoon, but i'll let your conspiracy theory homie from high school break it down.


Ranma 1/2. trivia note rumiko takahashi is one of the richest women in japan! she created ranma half a light hearted comedy about a boy obsessed with martial arts who turns into a girl when ever he gets dowsed with cold water and bacc when hit with the opposite. this was the funniest homoerotic martial arts cartoons ever ( no really there are a lot).


thunder cats. thunder cats is as tight as he man was wak. first of all all the thunder cats are people of color. and Panthro was the black one ( you know it's true). they all lived in the 3rd world (third earth!!) and the people who lived in castles where called mutants and where descended of carrion eating animals (colonist anybody). look i probably did over analyze this cartoon. but there where not alot of shows in the 80's for a lil black kid too look up too. and this one was real. hella lessons in this one. know what i need to do a whole blog on why thunder cats thats comin' in the future.


robotech, called Macross in japan. this started my love affair with japanese animation (not called japanamation that was the name of an import company) and i love it too this day. If you judge most television shows or movies or real life to this cartoon it's found lacking. i mean this was the first cartoon i saw where people died. and hella cold blooded not in some slow motion over emotional death sequence. naw they where just out gone its war mutha fucca !!! SO REAL!!!


now the present
inu yasha. another rumiko takahashi classic. more romance but much darker. sesshomaru is the shit too. checc this out. al lil off subject never watch fushugi yugi. never. not if you value your sanity. look they spent an entire season making you fall in love with the main characters and then kill them off one by one. starting with a baby committing suicide. yea don't fucc wit it.


OBAN Star racer. i just got into this recently. real cool i love the color work in this and it has a good blend off hand drawn and CG. pretty compelling story line too. basically the human race has to when this race or be exterminated.




Venture bros. you can tell I'm getting tired of typing cuz my lil commits keep getting shorter. any way this is a spoof on the old johnny quest cartoon and i like this infinitely better. this is a well paced action packed hilarious cartoon. (like the villain called girlfriend who is a very feminine woman with the voice of a forty five year old male Nam veteran who had been smoking cigarettes before he was born). it also has some serious moments that can draw you in. all i can say is bravo.




FLCL and samurai shamploo. both great anime that mesh vary well with my personal style of life living. really thats all i can say with out revealing secrets that i'd have to kill you if you knew.

AVATAR um i get emotional with this one. this is my modern thunder cats dude. this show means so much to me. I am Zuko. no really I'm even more fuccing serious. look GUY. Dealing my whole life with the feelings of worthlessness because my father didn't want me (or at least wasn't there) and all the anger and ways i thought i had to prove myself. to finally finding some kind of peace. Look watch the fuccing show ok. and be transformed.
